The cookieConsent cookie exists because if we did not set it, the cookie banner would pop up on every single page, which would be annoying. The session_id cookie exists so that if you start filling out a form and navigate to another page, you do not lose everything you typed. Both are purely practical.
No. Neither cookie contains your name, email, IP address, device identifier, or any data that could be used to identify you. The cookieConsent cookie stores the literal string "accepted" or "declined". The session_id cookie stores a random alphanumeric string that has no meaning outside your current session.
Yes. The site functions fine without cookies. The only side effect is that the cookie banner will reappear on each visit, and long form progress may be lost if you navigate away mid-form. You will still be able to upload files, get quotes, and place orders.
Only if we add a cookie. If we ever decide to add analytics or any other cookie, we will update this page, bump the version number, and post a banner on the site for at least 30 days before the change takes effect. You will also be able to opt out before the new cookie is ever set on your browser.
When you reach the Stripe or Square payment page, you leave our site and land on their domain. Stripe and Square set their own cookies for fraud prevention and payment processing. Those cookies are governed by their privacy policies, not ours. They do not run on printforge.digital pages.
No. Our banner is a simple in-page component that sets one cookie. Adding a third-party consent management platform would mean loading a script from another company, which would defeat the purpose of having a minimal cookie footprint.
Your consent choice is wiped, and the banner appears again on your next visit. That is the only consequence. You will not lose access to anything, and no data about you is affected because we never had any to begin with.
