PLA
The default for visual prototypes and low-stress parts. Wide color range, crisp detail, biodegradable under industrial composting.
Thirty-plus grades in stock. Every one tested in-house, every one with published properties, and every one available for your next order. No special-order delays, no minimum quantities.

The default for visual prototypes and low-stress parts. Wide color range, crisp detail, biodegradable under industrial composting.
Tough, chemically resistant, slightly flexible. Our most popular material for functional parts that need durability without breaking the budget.
The industrial workhorse. Machinable, paintable, and heat resistant up to 98 °C. A proven choice for automotive and industrial parts.
Like ABS but UV-stable and weather-resistant. Designed for outdoor parts that have to survive sun exposure without yellowing.
The balanced flexible. Shore 95A durometer, high impact resistance, and enough stiffness to hold its shape under load.
Softer and more elastic than 95A. Used for grips, gaskets, and living hinges that need to flex repeatedly without fatigue.
Strong, flexible, and fatigue-resistant in every direction. The industry standard for SLS parts with living hinges and snap fits.
Stiffer and stronger than straight PA12 with better dimensional stability. Replaces aluminum in many structural brackets.
The strength of polycarbonate with the processability of ABS. Excellent for enclosures that will be dropped or impacted.
Aerospace and medical grade. Withstands extreme temperatures, chemicals, and mechanical stress. Requires high-temperature printers.
Flame-retardant, high-strength amorphous thermoplastic. Standard in aerospace interiors and medical sterilization trays.
Smooth surfaces, fine detail down to 25 microns. The go-to for display models, master patterns, and miniature parts.
Engineered for repeated stress. Ideal for snap fits, jigs, and functional parts that need to survive drops and impact.
Burns out cleanly for investment casting. Preferred by jewelers and metal casting shops for lost-wax patterns.
Class I biocompatible. Used for surgical guides, dental models, and short-term skin-contact devices. ISO 10993 tested.
PLA blended with real wood fiber. Sands, stains, and smells like wood. Ideal for display pieces and furniture prototypes.
Carbon-loaded PLA with surface resistivity around 103 ohm-cm. Used for capacitive touch sensors and EMI shielding prototypes.
Water-soluble support material for multi-extrusion prints. Dissolves cleanly to reveal complex internal geometry.

The four grades that come up most in customer conversations. If you are stuck between two of these, this table usually makes the decision obvious.
Find your goal below and we will point you to the right material. If your goal is not listed, book a call and we will figure it out together.
Choose PLA or Standard Resin. Fine detail, wide color range, and smooth surface finish out of the printer.
Explore Rapid Prototyping →Choose PETG or Nylon PA12. Impact resistant, chemically stable, and proven on thousands of functional parts.
Explore Functional Parts →Choose PEEK, PEI, or PA12-CF. Operating temperatures up to 250 °C with published HDT curves.
See High-Temp Materials →Choose TPU 85A or TPU 95A. Living hinges, gaskets, grips, and vibration dampers that bend without breaking.
See Flexible Materials →Choose PA12 or PETG. Both scale cleanly to volume runs with consistent color and mechanical properties.
Explore Production Runs →Choose Biocompatible Resin or PA12. ISO 10993 tested and available with full documentation.
See Medical Applications →3D printing generates plastic waste. We handle it deliberately rather than pretending it does not exist. Here is what actually happens to every spool, failed print, and support structure that leaves our bays.
Depending on the stage you are at, there is a different path. None of them involve a back-and-forth over email.
Use the appointment form on any service page. Choose material from the dropdown and get a quote within two hours.
Upload a file →Get a physical sample of any material for $12 each. Swatches ship within two business days and are credited back on your first order over $200.
Request swatches →Twenty-minute call with an engineer. Bring your part drawing or application and we will recommend two or three materials with pricing for each.
Book a call →Stress-strain curves, HDT, creep, chemical compatibility. Sent as a PDF within one business day for any material in the catalog.
Request datasheets →Often yes. If the material runs on FDM, SLA, or SLS equipment and you can supply the datasheet, we can usually source it for a one-time qualification fee. Lead time is typically two to three weeks for the first run.
Yes. PETG, PA12, and Biocompatible Resin are available for food-contact and medical applications. We provide full material traceability and material certificates with every order. Regulatory compliance is the customer's responsibility — see our Terms of Service for details.
PA12-CF has 15% carbon fiber added, which increases stiffness and heat deflection while reducing elongation at break. It is roughly 2x stiffer than straight PA12 and about 50% more expensive. Choose it when you need structural rigidity; skip it when you need impact absorption or a smooth finish.
Every spool is stored in a sealed dry box with desiccant at 15–20% relative humidity. Nylon and TPU are dried for a minimum of four hours before every print. This is why our parts do not have the moisture defects that plague home-shop prints.
Yes, with some restrictions. We accept customer-supplied filament if it is 1.75 mm, supplied on a sealed spool, and accompanied by a datasheet. There is a $60 qualification fee to verify it prints cleanly on our machines before we run production.
PLA comes in 20+ colors off the shelf. PETG in 12. ABS and ASA in 8. Nylon PA12 is available in natural grey and can be dyed to most RAL colors for an additional $3 per part. Send us the RAL or Pantone code for an exact match.
Send us the part and the environment it will run in. We will recommend two or three materials with pricing for each, no obligation.
